Programme Update: December 2017

With the piling works completing at the end of  November, December sees the start of the bulk excavation which forms the basement and remaining sub structure. During the bulk excavation McLaren will be changing the vehicle access in and out of site to the lower gate beside the existing pedestrian access, which will limit the vehicles passing the project heading up Sutherland Road.

Please note that the site will shut down on the 22 December and  re-open on the 2 January 2018!

Upcoming works – Crane installation

On the 3rd January 2018, Tower Crane 1 will be  installed at the northern end of the site. All of the operations and plant movements involved with the crane install will be carried out from within the site boundaries.

The main construction operations during January will be continued excavation works and export of earth.

Temporary supports will be installed during January as the excavation depths increase.
